Install FluxPlugs into Fluxer

Start the injector using the build-and-launch guide. Save any work in Fluxer before continuing: installation may close and relaunch it.

Select the installation

1. Choose Scan for installs.
2. Select the Fluxer installation you actually use.
3. If it is not found, enter its installation root in the custom-root field, one root per line, and scan again. Select the folder containing the installed application, not a plugin folder.
4. Read the installation diagnostics and use Check status if verification failed.

If the injector detects BetterFluxer, follow the migration guide.

Review and install

1. Choose Preview changes and select Inject / update.
2. Review affected files, backup effects, and restart behavior.
3. Confirm the reviewed operation. Inject FluxPlugs also opens the review before committing changes.
4. Wait for completion. Do not edit or replace the installation while the operation is running.

If the confirmation becomes stale, run the preview again. If the operation is blocked, resolve the reported problem instead of repeatedly confirming it.

Verify the result

Open Fluxer settings. You should see a FluxPlugs category with Plugins and Settings. The injector should report that FluxPlugs is injected.

No plugin is enabled just by installing FluxPlugs. Continue with importing and managing plugins.
