What FluxPlugs is and is not
FluxPlugs adds plugins to the Fluxer desktop app. A plugin is a small program that adds a feature, changes part of the interface, or helps you perform a particular task.
What you install
Section titled “What you install”There are two parts. The injector is a separate desktop application that installs or removes FluxPlugs from a compatible Fluxer installation. The runtime loads with Fluxer and manages your plugins.
Once FluxPlugs is installed, use Fluxer Settings → FluxPlugs → Plugins to manage plugins. You do not need to keep the injector open.
What it is not
Section titled “What it is not”FluxPlugs is not a replacement chat service, a standalone Fluxer client, or a plugin system for the browser version of Fluxer. It does not give plugins unrestricted access to your computer or every part of Fluxer.
A permission review and a matching code hash do not prove that a plugin’s author is trustworthy. Choose plugins whose source and behavior you understand.
