Restore Fluxer and remove FluxPlugs

Restoring Fluxer removes the injected runtime from the selected installation. It is different from removing individual plugins in Fluxer settings.

Restore the original application files

1. Save your work in Fluxer and open the injector.
2. Scan and select the correct installation.
3. Use Check status and inspect backup health.
4. Choose Restore pristine.
5. Review the proposed file changes and restart behavior, then confirm.
6. Wait for completion and verify that Fluxer opens without the FluxPlugs settings category.

You can also select Restore pristine in Preview changes.

When restoration is blocked

A backup must be verified and restorable. A file merely being present is insufficient. Corrupt, stale, unreadable, or missing backups can block restoration.

If files have changed since the preview, review a fresh preview. If the installation requires recovery, follow its diagnostics; do not manually replace archives or edit hashes to bypass validation.

If a verified restore is impossible, obtain a clean Fluxer installation through its normal installation process. Keep diagnostic information for a bug report.

What happens to plugins?

Restoration does not promise to erase per-user plugin data. To remove installed plugin code and settings, use Remove in the Plugins page before restoring. Separate plugin storage remains available for a later reinstall.
